But in reality… it starts somewhere else.

Stress.

You’ve had a long day.
Work’s been full on.

APRIL MEMBER OF THE MONTH – PETER EVANS 👏

One of the hardest jobs we have is choosing a Member of the Month from our awesome members, who do great work…..

But this month, Peter stood out.

Peter, 49, school teacher.

When he first joined…
❌ Didn’t like gyms
❌ Had never done strength training
❌ Was carrying extra weight
❌ Managing a shoulder issue from an old injury

Fast forward over 6 months…

âś… Consistently training
âś… Stronger and fitter
âś… 3 stone down
âś… More confident and social
âś… Actually enjoying training

We asked Peter a few questions 👇

1) Why did you decide to join?
Overweight and higher cholesterol. Wanted to get back in shape and be healthier.

2) What do you love most about the studio?
I enjoy the small group environment and that it’s close to home. Early sessions mean I can train before work, which wouldn’t be possible after.

3) What results have you had since joining?
I’ve lost almost 3 stone, have more energy, and it’s helped improve my running. I’m also more careful with my diet.

4) What’s been the biggest change in your lifestyle?
Getting up early to train. I’ve never been a morning person, but now I don’t want to miss a session. I’ve rediscovered my motivation and I’m eating much healthier without missing the junk food.

5) How do you feel now compared to when you started?
Much fitter and stronger. I sleep better, have more energy day to day, and I’m making more effort socially too.
