Keith had struggled with his weight and body shape for most of his adult life…

And like many of us — he had no time.
He was running a busy practice, juggling family life, and constantly putting everyone else first.

Struggling with motivation?
You’re not alone — most people are in the exact same boat.

Busy work.
Busy family life.
Busy everything.

Novembers Member of the Month

David Speight

We love to celebrate our members’ success each month….not just for the results they achieve, but for the effort, attitude, and consistency behind them.

There are always many contenders for Member of the Month… but this time, David stood out.

He’s always positive, full of energy, and incredibly supportive to other members — a real part of what makes our community special.

When David joined us, he was worried that he was on a slow decline from which there was no escape.

He’d tried diets, routines, and workout plans… even Noom… but nothing stuck.
A few months in at Better Body Studios — and everything changed.

Here’s what he’s achieved so far 👇
✅ Mobility, strength, and fitness through the roof
✅ Deadlift: 110% of bodyweight
✅ 10kg down
✅ 15cm off his waist
✅ 8cm off his hips

But the most impressive part? His consistency and mindset.
David worked hard on his nutrition habits and committed fully to the process — and it’s paid off massively.

Here’s what he says:

“Before I started I was worried that I was on a slow decline from which there was no escape.

I had tried various diets, routines, workouts, etc and nothing worked because I could not stick to it. I even tried Noom and gave up after a couple of months when I didn’t see any change.

I am most proud of building my strength. When I started I could squat 40-50KG and now I can lift more than my bodyweight!

The biggest change is that my joints don’t ache half as much as they did before. If I dropped something on the floor, I would bend over like a giraffe to retrieve it — now I can crouch down and up again without assistance or making an involuntary groaning sound!

Compared to when I started, I feel more energised, less lethargic, more confident. I like the way I look in the mirror. I can see muscle definition again. I’m motivated to keep going — and that hasn’t happened for a long, long time.”
