Food noise? 🧐
Or I just want it?! 😋
This is a photo of the scrumptious lunch my lovely sister made for us on Christmas Day.
The roast potatoes were the BEST! Made with goose fat and super crunchy on the outside and soft and fluffy inside.
I can easily recreate this by roasting butternut squash instead of spuds in a spray oil.
I can swap out the pigs in blankets for chicken sausages in bacon.
I can still create a yummy roast meal.
But I want what I had on Christmas Day! I’ve been dreaming about it.
Is that food noise? 🤷🏼♀️
What am I going to do?
Succumb to my craving…or choose not to?
My choice will be to knock up a lower calorie, healthier version of this delight.
I’m choosing…not relying on willpower.
I’m in control.
And that’s what I work with my clients on constantly and consistently.
Reminding them that they are in control. Nobody force feeds us.
When we get the control back over what we decide to put in our mouths, the rest is easy.
