I travelled to Spain today, making sure I was well hydrated during the journey. ✈️ 💦

Life can be really tough sometimes and many things aren’t in our control. We feel impotent. And frustrated and sad.

The only thing we can truly control is what we eat, and drink.

It might feel that we’re out of control with food, but we’re not. Trust me.

Batch cooking 👩‍🍳

I know it can be time consuming, but you’ll thank yourself in the end!

When I make a batch of soup, I always double up.

I had a very busy day on Tuesday and was going to be up against it preparing and serving dinner by 6pm.

Took the soup out of the freezer first thing, and it was defrosted and ready to heat by late afternoon. We had prawns with it for the all important protein.

Healthier, and cheaper, than any ready-made soup. 🥣

It’s worth the time and effort, trust me!

As we all know, life can get in the way sometimes.

7 days on and she’s 4.4 lbs down and her belt is back on the right notch!
