Anxiety doesnโ€™t always look how people expect it to look.

You can be high-functioning, capable and outwardly calm - and still experience overthinking, intrusive thoughts or constant internal tension.

This is because anxiety is rooted in the nervous system. When the brainโ€™s threat response is overactive, it can stay switched on even when life appears stable.

Understanding the science behind anxiety reduces shame. It shifts the narrative from โ€˜Whatโ€™s wrong with me?โ€™ โžก๏ธ โ€˜My brain is trying to protect me.โ€™

The goal isnโ€™t to eliminate anxiety completely (because itโ€™s a natural human emotion which keeps us safe) but we can certainly dial it down so that you can feel happier, more confident and able to tackle what life throws at you.

As a Clinical Hypnotherapist specialising in anxiety, trauma responses and overwhelm, staying up to date with the latest neuroscience isnโ€™t optional - itโ€™s essential.

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is grounded in neuroscience, so as the research evolves, so does my practice.

I genuinely love learning (masters in Psychology over here ๐Ÿค“).

But ongoing Continuing Professional Development is also part of my commitment as a registered member of the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council, and the National Council for Hypnotherapy.

I have to complete a required number of CPD hours each year to maintain professional and ethical standards.
