Detox is a big subject right now, especially with people wanting to detox following vaccines so they can enjoy the benefit of protection that vaccines bring but without the residual heavy metals and toxins left in the body.
HOW exactly do you detox your body, though ?
Diet is the first place to start. You need to eating a nutrient dense diet and avoiding sugars and carbohydrates. There is plenty of research to show that eating processed foods suppresses your immune system and no-one wants that right now.
Research on the Paleo diet, 'Whole 30' or 'Western Price' to see the kinds of foods you should focus on and what to avoid.
Then you can use essential oils. Essential oils are natural, effective and so easy to use (just put them on your body), which is why they are so popular right now.
'Zendocrine' is doTERRAs detoxification blend. Especially for detoxing the liver and the kidneys. Geranium and Helicrysthum are both incredibly supportive of detoxification. So we are going to use all 3 of these oils. 2 drops of each, diluted with fractionated coconut oil. Rub that over the liver and kidney area in the morning and in the evening. You want to do that every day for about 3 months.
We are going to use Frankincense and On Guard to lower inflammation in the body and boost the immune system. Added to that Cilantro is going to help pull heavy metals out of the body. Aluminium is heavy metal found in some vaccines and is not something we want staying in our bodies.
We are going to take 2 drops of each of these oils and apply to the soles of the feet (dilute with fractionated coconut oil if you have sensitive skin). Do this in the morning and in the evening each day for 3 months.
All of this takes literally seconds to do, yet is doing our body so much good, helping expel the toxins and strengthen our immune system.
You can do the same with the kids. Just instead of 2 drops of each oil I would just use 1 and ensure you use an appropriate dilution ratio.
Lemon oil should be a part of everyone's daily routine anyway. If not, we are going to take a drop of lemon oil in our water in the morning and a drop in the afternoon. Lemon is fantastic for detox and also supports the immune system.
A detox bath a couple of times a week is going to really make sure that we get those nasty toxins out :
1 cup baking soda
2 cups epsom salts
4 drops Juniper Berry
4 drops Rosemary
Soak in the bath for at least 20 minutes.
This is a lovely relaxing way to detox and relaxation is important, as it lowers the cortisol levels and thus protects our immune system.
