Something I wrote recently:

My shadow self
You, my shadow, have a place at my table
You are not shunned
You are welcomed
I gaze at your darkness
I see you due to the fact that you are surrounded by light
For if you weren’t
I would not be able to see you
You sit tall, menacing
As I look upon you you seem to grow
In return, I shrink
I’m fearful
I stand, as do you,
You tower over the table and over me
I shrink even more
Then I remember that I am the host
You are the guest
Where are my manners?
I can not retreat! How rude that would be!
Outside the sun changes as time passes
I stretch my cowered body to my full height
I square my shoulders, plant my feet hip width apart
Imagine my crown up on my head
In sovereignty I am in charge
And I invite you to sit once more
As do I
The sun is now setting outside
And a beautiful glow fills the room
Light seems to bounce of the walls
Wraps around me
My shadow, you, shrink
The sun dips those last few feet of being our promise of a beautiful day
And I look at you
Slowly you become invisible
I know you still sit at my table
Even though, to my eyes you are not there
Yet I feel you
I rise, i turn on an over head light
The chair opposite is indeed empty
I turn of the light and set fire to the candles
My shadow, my friend?

Women’s’ shamanic circle with cacao

This Saturday we will be looking at Autumn colours and the meanings behind them and how they make us feel.

We don’t all love Autumn and the start of nesting and hibernation so we are going to look at what makes us who we are and why we like what we like.

Life coach David Brown https://potentialitycoaching.co.uk/ and I are running a great workshop inviting you to look within and explore your inner wisdom, strength and creativity through the archetypes of Sovereign and Magician.
You will be warmly welcomed with a health inducing smoothie and after the initial introduction and brief, you will be brought into the space of peace and harmony with a guided meditation.
This will lead into the workshops which will provide you with a space to explore, be open, feel safe, heard, and held.

Take time out for YOU

No experience needed as I will guide you through the breathing, relaxation and the visulisation.

All you need to do is make yourself comfortable and give yourself permission to let go of everything for the time we are together. You may even turn your camera off if that helps you to relax.
