A little mini reset 🥰

Thought I'd share a mini sound immersion here whilst I had a little play. No fancy hair or makeup and peter rabbit slippers included 😉

Take 2 minutes for yourself to breathe, and allow the tones and vibrations to soothe and heal or simply provide a space for rest ✨️

I appreciate that I didn't plug in my professional mic , but you get the jist 😘

Usually I would support my clients In breath and meditation first to create a more relaxed state for the sound session, I like to blend mindful meditation and visualisation to create a powerful platform for the singing bowls to be recieved - and enhance the magic 🤩

A recent 2024 Pubmed study shared that :
Studies have shown that singing bowl sound meditation can produce physiological and psychological responses, reducing negative affect and increasing positive affect, as well as improving blood pressure, heart rate, and respiratory rate. Singing bowl sound meditation may be an effective low-cost and low-technology intervention for reducing feelings of tension, anxiety, and depression while promoting spiritual well-being

A beautiful 'Galentines ' themed session for a staff wellbeing afternoon at a local Specialist secondary school. 💓💞

It was an honour to be invited back for my 3rd year in a row , by the wonderful Headteacher who is very passionate about staff wellbeing, and understands the positive impact it has for students too 😊

This power hour included ;
- Gratitude journaling and positive mindset work
-Aroma creations (this time we chose Amber glass rollerballs) with natural carrier oils and pure essential oil blends.
-Diapghragmatic breathing (using our oils blends) for nervous system soothing
-Guided meditation with heated eyemasks and sound bowl immersion 🤩

A journey of mindfulness awareness through the senses of touch, smell , sound and sight ♥️

Ever thought "Mindfulness isn't for me because I have a busy brain" ...?

Yep I used to think that too.

Being told to "relax" but having to always be doing something, I couldnt just "sit still"

Feeling like I had to earn rest, or guilt arising when taking a break.

Knowing that I needed to slow down, but somehow attaching my worth to productivity...

Thoughts racing at a million miles per hour...
The negative ones competing to take up the most headspace.

Other people's needs always seemed more important than my own...

If this resonates for you , I will share what many great teachers have shared before me...

Those who say they're too busy for mindfulness...
Are the ones who need it MOST.

Let that sink in.

Overwhelm, burnout, stress, anxiety...
Irritability, trouble sleeping, forgetfulness...
A nervous system in constant fight or flight...

These have become the 'new norm' and we're being told to put a plaster over those symptoms , rather than being taught how to re wire our thought patterns, regulate our nervous systems, or change our belief systems, habits and internal dialogue.

What if we were able to improve our mental, emotional and phsyical health with simple shifts that actually work? Would you try it ?

Often the majority of my clients arrive in my coaching sessions or memberships because they want to create change. They know that being constantly on the go is not sustainable.

They dont want to keep second guessing themselves when anxiety appears, or be shouty mum again because their nervous system is in tatters.
And they've spent years saying they're 'too busy' for mindfulness.
They've searched for quick fixes and tried the latest trends , but nothing has lasted or worked long term.
They've been 'too busy' to prioritise themselves.'

And I get it. Time, energy, headspace, money. It's not an unlimited resource.

So I teach effective techniques that work , from just 30 seconds a day.
A change to your breathing pattern. A pause to gather your thoughts, A tapping sequence, A journal prompt, A 2 minute meditation, A mindful cuppa routine...

Starting with small manageable steps to build realistic habits...

Hands up if you relate ?!

Was me once too 🤪🤪

When I tell people that mindfulness changed my life, i'm not joking or exaggerating.

When I share that I'm no longer plagued with anxiety or daily panic attacks (yep that was me once too)

And that as someone who said the most horrible things to my reflection in the mirror for far too many years, I've learned how to be compassionate and genuinely love myself. No easy task.

But I don't want to gatekeep , or watch people suffer needlessly. I want to share the magic of mindfulness...

Cup well and truly filled 🥰 Physically and metaphorically ☺️😉

An utterly gorgeous day in the studio yesterday doing what I love.

Half day Mindfulness retreat ;
Setting seeds of intention for the season ahead. A gentle cleansing and unfurling from the winter /woodsnake energy and easing into the start of spring and the firehorse chapter ✨️

> We began with a women's circle for connection
> Some time with reflection and oracle cards as we pondered our intentions for the season ahead

> Created compassionate intentions and wishes for ourselves and for one another ✨️

> Spring journal prompts for reflecting on what we would like to release, how we have nurtured ourselves during the 'wintering' phase , and what seeds of intention we can plant now...

As one of my love languages is feeding people, I enjoyed serving up a home made soup, home made dark choc flapjacks and a selection of breads, cheeses, and fruits for nourisment😋

> Then we embarked on an energy sharing /healing exercise using the Modality of the violet flame 💜
> Actually planted some seeds in soil as a visual reminder to nurture our intentions

> Decorated some mini mugs /candle holders for a flow state activity

> Relaxed with an aroma facial and self massage session

And then everyone got cosy to finish with meditation, sound and Angelic reiki healing.
Everyone in the room drifted off to sleep and the energy was so beautiful 😍

These sessions are a thankyou from me to my amazing clients. Half of the attendees are ultimate membership clients and recieve 4 of these seasonal retreats a year as part of the package.

Two of the ladies had joined me that morning for the monthly parent and child session, of mindful mask making, mirror movement for connection, breathing techniques, sound bowls and mini meditation, and then returned by themselves for some well deserved self care. 🤩
