Today is World Qigong and Tai Chi day!!!
So it only felt right that we should honour this day with some gentle practise drawing in the energy from all around us 🌏🙏🌳 There really is no better way to start the day and I cannot imagine my life now without this ancient practise. To say I’ve never felt better is an understatement ♥️So many things to be grateful for on this sunny day but today is all about Qigong 💚🌟Harnessing our Qi to balance and bring harmony to our bodies and mind whilst strengthening us from the inside out. Giving thanks to our wonderful community who allow us to share.

Today we had the pleasure of hosting our very first in person event 🙏 a wonderful afternoon of meditation, qigong and face yoga. Focusing and embracing spring, balancing our wood energy and that all important time for ‘us’ 🌱🌳🐅 thank you to our wonderful community for your support, for the use of your beautiful space, .kerryh for your face yoga expertise and for your learnings and inspiring us to teach and share.

Today marks the first day of Spring in the traditional Chinese calendar 🌱 and we welcome the Yang Water Tiger into our lives. Our Tigers are strong 💪courageous and brave and after a year of holding back they are ready to move us forward. Poised to help us seize the day and pounce on any new opportunities as they present themselves, This Tiger embodies the wood element qualities but coupled with water it allows us to embrace the flow without obstructions in our way. So let’s literally be like Tigger and spring forward and embrace this time of regrowth and renewal 🐯🐅

Trying to remind ourselves of this quote with our unseasonably British May weather 🦆🌧☔️I’ve certainly been very grateful for the pockets of sunshine this week 🌤
Like our weather our emotions can vary and be changeable too. Some days we need to stand and endure the rain to appreciate the sunnier days and finding that little thing that makes us happy inside can help weather a storm cloud ⛈🌤
Qigong helps keep our weather like emotions in check. With focus on the calming breath and the meditative movements we find the harmony and balance of our organs and their respective emotions.
