We were delighted to host students from Swansea University in collaboration with on the 29th of November for an engaging, hands-on learning experience at our London Canary Wharf branch.
Attendees included BSc and MSc students from Medical Pharmacology, Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, Midwifery programmes etc .
All participants took part in a tailored session that included:
🔬 Theoretical exploration of histology and core histopathology techniques
🧫 Practical demonstrations of embedding and microtomy, with students taking turns on the equipment
💡 Quizzes, career insights, and discussions on the value of hands-on skills in securing lab-based roles
The session concluded with lunch, networking, and overwhelmingly positive feedback from students who left inspired and motivated.
