Good afternoon followers ☺️

Connection Flows Both Ways; Whichever side of the table you’re on.

For those who don’t already know, every Wednesday evening at Cornhill, Ipswich, something quite special happens in the community. People come together over a hot drink, a warm meal, and a chat. For some of our guests, it’s the first time all week that someone has listened to them, called them by name, or asked how they’re doing.

And for our volunteers? It’s just as meaningful. A couple of hours spent serving food, handing out clothing, or sharing stories often becomes the highlight of their week — because connection flows both ways.

If that sounds like something that would also fill your cup, as it certainly does mine, we’ve just started looking for a few more people to join our outreach team. Could that be you?

📅 When: Wednesday evenings, 7pm
📍 Where: Cornhill, Ipswich
🙌 What you’ll do: Serve food and drinks, help with clothing/toiletries, and most importantly, spend time chatting with our guests.

For me, this is the type of giving where I always somehow walk away with more. That’s the paradox of giving; of sharing. That’s the power of community.
