Do you suffer from dry, cracked heels?

Cracked heels can be more than just a cosmetic issue — they can become painful, split deeply, and even lead to infection if left untreated.

If you’re experiencing ongoing dryness, thickened skin, or painful cracks, it’s best to see a Foot Health Practitioner. I can safely remove hard skin, treat the cracks properly, and give you tailored advice to help prevent them from coming back.

Looking after your feet is just as important as the rest of your body — don’t ignore the signs.

Fix the habits. Save your feet.

Pedicures, moisturiser, scrubs… you’re doing all the right things, right? 🤔
Not always.

Some everyday foot care habits can actually be doing more harm than good — and a few might surprise you (number 6 will SHOCK you 😱).

Seemingly harmless habits, like soaking your feet at a salon or cutting nails too short, can increase the risk of pain, infections, and long-term damage.

The good news?
Small changes can make a big difference in keeping your feet healthy and pain-free.

✨ Save this as your go-to foot care checklist! 👣

Athlete’s foot is a common fungal infection of the skin on your feet—usually between the toes, but it can also affect the soles and sides of the feet.

What it looks/feels like:
• Itching, stinging or burning 👣
• Red, flaky, cracked, or peeling skin
• White, soggy skin between the toes
• Sometimes blisters or a dry, scaly rash on the sole

What causes it:
• A fungus that thrives in warm, damp places (sweaty shoes, socks, public showers, gym floors)
• It spreads easily by skin contact or contaminated surfaces

Who’s more likely to get it:
• People with sweaty feet
• Wearing tight or non-breathable shoes
• Using communal showers or pools
• Not drying feet properly after washing

How it’s treated:
• Over-the-counter antifungal creams/sprays (like clotrimazole or terbinafine)
• Keep feet clean, dry, and aired
• Change socks daily and avoid tight shoes
• Severe or stubborn cases may need prescription treatment

Important:
If untreated, it can spread to toenails or other parts of the body.

👟 Your Shoes Matter More Than You Think 👟

What you wear on your feet every day plays a huge role in your foot health and overall wellbeing.

✔️ Good shoes support your arches and joints
✔️ They reduce pressure and absorb shock
✔️ Help prevent corns, calluses, bunions & heel pain
✔️ Improve balance and reduce the risk of falls
✔️ Keep feet comfortable, dry, and healthy

Uncomfortable or unsupportive footwear can lead to pain in your feet, knees, hips, and even your back.

👣 Healthy feet start with the right shoes — not just style, but proper fit and support.
