Just one week in and I'm feeling and SEEING results.

I am following a protocol based on my recent DNA Gut test results and am genuinely loving it!

A few people have asked what they actually receive, from me, for their £395.
So here is a brief account of what is included in the price...

The DNA test kit will be delivered to you in the post

A courier will come and collect at a date set by you.

When the results are back from the lab I will book you in for a 60-90 minute CONSULTATION.

I've been meaning to write a book for years. I wanted it to be a recipe book with a difference.

I LOVE the science behind the food we eat (obviously, or I wouldn't have chosen this career!) but I guess some people just want fixing! Some of my clients just ask for simple recipes, whilst others have a real need to know what is going on inside their bodies.

My passion is GUT HEALTH and the MICROBIOME and I always explain how amazingly unique and complex the set up is.

EPIGENETICS is the study of how your environment, food choices and behaviours can cause changes that affect the way your genes work without altering the underlying DNA sequence.
These changes (epigenetic modifications) act like chemical tags that can turn genes on or off.
EPIGENETIC CHANGES can play a significant role in the development of diseases.

So how do I write a book that has cracking recipes - that are simple, nutritionally dense, healing and extremely tasty and contain the foods and combinations that everyone needs.?

Well, I can't - because it's not possible.
By the very nature of the uniqueness of our microbiomes and our unique DNA, we need differing protocols.

When Nordic Labs emailed to introduce their latest DNA test all the pieces fell into place.

I knew I had to produce a bespoke recipe book, that came about only once the client's microbiome was understood.

This book would not only have personalised recipes but would also have a science section for that time the client had sufficient time and/or headspace to delve deeper into the mechanics of their body and it's unique relationship with the food they were offering it.

Finally, the Western world have cottoned on to the extreme importance of the microbiome, and the press and social media is full of advice for improving gut health.

There is much talk of the benefits of fermented foods, the danger of antibiotic overuse and even the effects of stress on the microbiome.

The above are true and very valid but not the whole story.

In my last lot of studying I have learned that we need to stop thinking of the gut microbiome as a transient thing; the 40 trillion microbes living in our gut are NOT merely passengers. They function together as a dynamic organ in it's own right.

A kind of 'virtual organ'.
