Gillian and her husband shared a love story that began on a bus route and grew into 25 wonderful years of marriage.

After her husband’s passing, Gillian found herself struggling with grief. Wanting to support her through this difficult time, the Caremark - Spelthorne & Runnymede team came together to do something special.

A memory quilt was lovingly created using her husband’s shirts, each one holding a precious memory.

When Gillian received the quilt, she hugged it tightly and said, “It feels like I’m hugging my husband.”

Moments like these remind us that care is about so much more than practical support. It’s about compassion, understanding, and being there when it matters most.

When Mary first started her care journey with Caremark Swansea, everyday tasks felt overwhelming. Following heart surgery, she struggled to walk, stand, and get out and about, even with the support of her family.

With encouragement, kindness, and consistent support from her Caremark Swansea care team, Mary’s confidence and independence have grown day by day.

Today, Mary is back on her feet and enjoying life again. She’s walking independently, doing jobs around the house, meeting friends for Bingo, heading out for lunches with family, and even baking Welsh cakes once more 💙
