Do you experience uncomfortable symptoms after eating? You’re not alone.

The most common food intolerance I find in my clinic is wheat and dairy. Many people react to these foods without even realizing it.

Muscle testing can uncover which foods are causing your uncomfortable symptoms. We can then test alternatives to those foods if you feel you need something to replace that intolerance - for example if you are intolerant to cow milk, we can test you with oat milk or almond milk.

Once you remove those food tolerances, your body no longer has to fight to work against them and it gives your body space to heal.

For years we’ve been told to fear fat.. “low fat” this, “fat free” that.
But how did people fall for it… when the science has always said otherwise?

It all started in the 1950s with the diet-heart hypothesis, an idea that claimed saturated fat causes heart disease.
After President Eisenhower’s heart attack, doctors and the American Heart Association pushed the low-fat message. Meanwhile, behind the scenes, the sugar industry funded research to make fat the villain instead of sugar.

By the 1970s and 80s, “fat is bad” became official public health advice.
Supermarkets filled with low-fat and fat-free foods.. loaded with sugar and additives that did far more harm than good.

But here’s the truth:

Every time a new diet trend comes around, it’s easy to think this will be the one. But if it doesn’t work for you, it’s simply because we’re all different.

There are some basics that benefit everyone, like:

Eating whole foods

Choosing nutrient-dense produce (farm shops are brilliant for this)

Cutting down on heavily processed foods

But beyond that, it personal. For one person the missing piece might be digestion:

Are enzymes needed?

Do stomach acid levels need correcting?

For another it could be blood sugar balance:

Are energy crashes happening?

Is the body constantly craving quick fixes?

These are the kind of details I can check for you. When your body isn’t held back by hidden stressors, it can finally work more freely, supporting your health, energy, and natural weight.

We’re taught to treat symptoms as the problem.

Headache? Take a painkiller.
Allergies? Take an antihistamine.
Skin condition? Apply creams or the latest chemical concoction.

But symptoms are not the problem - they’re the body’s signal.

When you only chase the symptom, it often comes back. Sometimes it even shows up somewhere else.

The real shift happens when you go deeper, when you ask why is the body creating this in the first place?

That’s what muscle testing allows me to do - to get underneath the surface, find the root cause, and bring balance where the body really needs it.

🌙 Being in balance is a continual practice.

When it’s cold, movement is often the first thing we drop.

Your body’s meant to move. When you don’t, everything slows down - your circulation, lymph flow, digestion, even your thoughts and emotions.
That stuck feeling you get in your body or mind is often just stagnancy. Energy isn’t flowing, so you start to feel heavy, tense, tired or flat.

Movement gets things going again. It doesn’t need to be intense.. even a gentle stretch, walk or sway can start to release what’s built up.
