Today - Sunday 25th May - is World Tarot Day™ was founded by Tarot Grandmaster Den Elder in 2003, after she grew tired of hearing negative and misinformed comments in the media.
As a lifelong enthusiast, I have recently retired from my mainstream job to have more time to devote to the Tarot and I am therefore now available for professional tarot readings.
There are various options available - in person if you are local to me, or via Skype or telephone, or you can have a written reading emailed to you, but this would require a short telephone call beforehand to select your cards.
Cost is £35 payable in advance, via Paypal.
It is important to note: I am not a psychic, clairvoyant, mystic or anything of that nature, and I do not claim to be able to see or sense things, or predict the future. I am a Tarot scholar and reader who has studied the cards over three decades and will give you a reading based on the meaning of the cards you choose.
Tarot does not predict the future, it facilitates it. To predict what is going to happen tomorrow, next week, next month, next year is against the whole ethos of the Tarot. To be able to predict the future means that your path is linear and inevitable, and the choices and decisions you make, have little effect on what is fated. This is the complete opposite of what the Tarot is about.
The Tarot provides you with an overview of your present circumstances, and shows you the choices, opportunities and possible outcomes that are available to you. It can enable you to see things in a way you may not have considered before, offering new perspectives on your life and situation. There is nothing 'psychic' about this process, and it is important that anyone who has a reading with me understands this.
