Where do I start................................
I would say my childhood was caring and fun, nothing out of the norm particularly. I trained as a Montessori Nursery Teacher and lived and worked in the Middle East for 13 years. On returning to England, I retrained in AAT and Financial Management and after several financial positions within large international companies, latterly as a Business Analyst, I made the decision to become self employed in 2000 after qualifying as an AOR Reflexologist and Usui Reiki Teacher. Alongside my holistic business I was a founding owner and director of a successful flying school on the south coast. My change in career direction was stimulated after my father died in 1998 and it was around this time I became aware of the work of Louise L. All these teachers offered me the opportunity to grow through the power of positive loving thoughts and have had a huge impact on the way I view the world today. It enabled me to explore how my personal thoughts and feelings affected me physically and emotionally. How old beliefs and thoughts were not necessarily supporting me anymore and for me it was important to seek resolution. I am very proud to be a Licensed Heal Your Life® Trainer and Coach, offering 121 coaching and facilitating workshops empowering others to review life from a different perspective. I have two adult children whom I’m exceptionally proud and as the years progress have become more aware of what amazingly powerful, loving and sensitive human beings they are - I am truly blessed to have them in my life. They are both happily married now with children of their own. They and other family and friends have honoured me with immense love and support especially since my husband died in an aircraft accident in 2008, which was just 14 months after my sisters' unexpected death after being diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Six months later the family experienced the tragic murder of my cousin's 15 year old daughter by a boy from her school. The whole family has been through a lot of soul searching and grieving, whilst supporting each other, and for me there has been a great deal of emotional ‘letting-go’ since those dark years and at times it has been hard not to be burdened on my next step forward, but now I smile a lot more and see joy and happiness everywhere. I believe it is important to remember how wonderful life is and that everything we experience in our lives contributes to our personal growth, even when there are aspects of perceived horrid stuff. How we choose to deal with this ‘horrid stuff’ is our choice. It is within our power to do something positive about whatever comes our way and to see the joy life has on offer. I do not look to solve other people's problems in life, however, I do believe the tools I teach support the way we approach the challenges that life inevitably brings. There are many more people in this world who have also suffered the loss of someone special in their lives and I am nothing special in that concern, however, I do feel blessed with my life lessons and I now feel honoured to be able to share the skills I have learnt along the way. Going through grief, adversity and my determination to develop, I now view life as effortlessly as I possibly can, whilst remaining in a space of peace, joy and happiness. This is why I am now on a personal mission to help others find that within them too. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I wish you love and joy in your life.
