My name is Leanne and I provide professional and clinical reflexology treatments, Reiki and Indian Head Massage either in a clinic or your own home :-)

I decided to take the plunge and started my own business last year following the successful completion of the ABC level 3 diploma in Reflexology at the Gaia School of Natural Health on the Wirral. In parallel with the Reflexology diploma, I also studied Anatomy and Physiology, setting up a Complementary Therapy business, health eating advice for the Complementary Therapist, Indian head massage and Reiki. As I requirement of my course, I completed 100 hours client practice so I got to practise on lots of pairs of feet :-) Many of my case studies were carried out in a popular care home so I got the opportunity to treat a wide range of complex cases, ranging from M.S and strokes to arthristis and depression. All of my training has helped me develop personally as well as professionally as I have learnt to look at the whole individual when treating and not just the symptoms they present with. I first became interested in Complementary Therapies following my own experience of ill health (both physical and mental) in 1998 in which I turned to therapies to help me manage during my rehabilitation. The relaxation and relief I found was undeniable and I knew I was hooked in that way of thinking immediately. I now practise the same therapies I turned to during my low points and I aspire to provide the same relief to others. My special interests involve Reflexology Lymphatic Drainage, the management of Chronic Conditions and pallative care, Reflexology with babies and children as well as working on the muscloskeletal conditions using Reflexology. I also work closely with the North Wales Cancer Care Group and they provide information and support in the community for people living with cancer through signposting them to different complementary and self help approaches that can be used alongside conventional treatments to improve their health and wellbeing. After a period of ‘time out’ and COVID disruption, I am pleased to say that reflexology is back up and running at last. Sessions by appointment only at Steel Physiotherapy Clinic on the Vauxhall industrial estate in Johnstown 🙂
