SPOTLIGHT SUNDAY
Meet Kristy, one of our amazing Chiropractors 😃👍💪

Kristy first undertook a degree in medical science before becoming increasingly interested in chiropractic. She studied and qualified at the AECC University College in Bournemouth, gaining a Masters in Chiropractic.

Originally from South Wales Kristy moved back to Wales, the Wrexham area this time, where she met her partner. She is now working part time and her clinical days vary.

Kristy’s approach to chiropractic is to assess the body as a whole to address the root cause of the problem to provide long term results. This approach not only allows her to address the symptoms and pain presented but to treat any problems before they become symptomatic and allows improvement to overall health and well-being.

Kirsty works in our Wrexham clinic.

Meet the amazing James 😃👍💪

James studied at McTimoney college Manchester and Abingdon where he attained a Masters Degree in Chiropractic. As a McTimoney Chiropractor, James has a unique treatment style that may be considered a more gentle approach that looks at the function of the entire body. He became a chiropractic patient in 2007 after suffering a disc herniation. The rehabilitation provided by our very own Peter inspired him to embark on a seven year educational journey to become a chiropractor.

James’s hobbies include DIY, crafting and art. James has been a professional drummer for over twenty years playing shows around the world with various bands. He is the drummer and one of the vocalists for The Big Beat and has performed at major sporting events at such venues as Wembley Stadium, Old Trafford, and The Millennium Stadium.

James works in our Wrexham and Mold Clinics.

Help fight stress with Reflexology

Reflexology is a non-invasive health therapy that may be effective in promoting deep relaxation, rebalancing and wellbeing. It can be received by anyone at any age, from new-born babies to those receiving end of life care, and everyone in between.

Reflexology was introduced to the West in the 1900s and has a long history dating back to Ancient Egypt as well as a therapy used in India and China. It is a touch therapy based on the theory that different points on the feet or face correspond with different areas of the body and reflexologists work on these points and areas with their thumbs and fingers.

Reflexology is a very easy therapy to receive; depending on the type of reflexology, the most clothing that will have to be removed for a treatment to take place will be your socks and shoes.

The therapist will then use their hands to apply pressure to the feet, lower leg, hands, ears or face, depending on the type of reflexology chosen. Reflexology is about deep relaxation and enabling your body to restore it’s natural balance.

We are fortunate at our Mold and Wrexham clinics to have experienced clinical reflexologists Sarah Roberts and Pauline Goodwin who are Members of the Association of Reflexologists providing treatments for our patients. In Chester our experienced massage therapist Sally Wynne provides reflexology sessions when you need to unwind, relax and rebalance.
