FLVC/AVOW Health and Wellbeing Network Meeting

Come and meet with local organisations and find out what is happening in and around Flintshire and Wrexham.

The aim of the network is to bring organisations together to share information, projects and find out what is happening in and around Wrexham and Flintshire. Updates are provided by AVOW and FLVC, with guest speakers and a taster session at the end of the network!

𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁s 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹!

If you're aged 65+, nervous or anxious after a fall, or at risk of falling, you can self refer to the physiotherapist led Active Futures group exercise sessions.

The full course is £72 for 24 sessions over the course of 12 weeks. There are two locations available in Wrexham, at the Gwersyllt Resource Centre and Acton Community Resource Centre. Stay for refreshments and peer support after the sessions are over!

AVOW and Flintshire Local Voluntary Council hosted a joint Babies, Children and Young People network today at Gresford Methodist Church.
The aim of the network was to bring services together who provide support for 0-25 year olds in Wrexham and Flintshire.
With special thanks to our guest speakers WG NEST framework, Family Information Service, BCU Dietetics, DSN Hear Me! And We Mind the Gap.

We are looking for a hands-on, enthusiastic Project Coordinator to join our small, friendly team at Agri-cation CIC, Woodcroft Farm near Bangor-on-Dee, Wrexham.

You’ll be working outdoors, supporting young people and adults who face barriers to education, training, or employment — helping them grow through farm-based, practical learning.

About the Role
📍 Location: Woodcroft Farm, Bangor-on-Dee
⏰ Hours: 20 hours per week (Mon–Thurs, 9:30–2:30)
📅 Contract: Permanent, term-time only
💷 Salary: Actual £11,324 (FTE £25,000)
🐄 Environment: A working beef farm — animals, nature, mud & meaningful impact!
