✨ World Mental Health Month at The Bridge ✨

Today we took time out to prioritise what matters most — connection, wellbeing, and community 💙

This was a special internal event, made even more meaningful as we welcomed Sarah from Unmasked. Her passion for supporting mental health and neurodivergent individuals truly aligns with our ethos here at The Bridge — creating a workplace where everyone feels understood, supported, and empowered.

As part of our fundraising for Mind, we spent the morning enjoying calming self-care activities including stone painting, shell decorating, and a lovely spot of lunch together.

The feedback has been incredible — everyone left feeling more relaxed, more connected, and more productive for the rest of the day.

🧠💚 Mental health matters, not just this month — but every day.
Thank you to everyone who took part and helped us raise awareness and support an amazing cause!

Westmead Achieves 'Good' Overall Rating from the CQC 🎉

We are pleased to share that Westmead at The Bridge Care has been awarded a ‘Good’ overall rating in its most recent Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection which is a significant improvement from its previous ‘Inadequate’ rating.

This outcome is the result of sustained effort over the past 10 months, during which the service has undergone substantial transformation. From strengthened leadership and improved systems to a positive cultural shift and strong team collaboration, the progress has been exceptional. While the service received a 'Requires Improvement' rating in the Well-Led domain, the ongoing efforts to embed the necessary improvements remain a priority. The overall turnaround is a strong reflection of the hard work, professionalism, and resilience demonstrated by the entire Westmead team.
