🎉 Today we held another Living with ABI session in our Yeovil centre 🎉

Made possible by funding from The Henry Smith Foundation (https://henrysmith.foundation/) these sessions invite current clients and external individuals living with an ABI to come in and find out more about their injuries and strategies to help with daily living.

Today we explored fatigue and had some great conversations about how it feels, the impact it has and ways of managing symptoms.

📣A Reminder our Chill & Chat in Yeovil is on next Tuesday☕

Join us at our office for our Yeovil Chill & Chat Group. This group is open to anyone caring for a child with additional needs and or disabilities, no diagnosis needed.

This is a relaxed and friendly space for parent carers to connect, share, and unwind. Whether you’re looking for support or just a warm cuppa and a chat, you’re more than welcome. Our lovely rep Natalie will be there to welcome you 🙂

Ark at Egwood are holding a free three week course on creativity and relaxation for carers. The course starts on Friday 8th May and there are some spaces available for unpaid carers over the age of 19, living in Somerset.

Our new Octagon Memory Choir has quickly become a highlight of the week for so many. Over the past 6 weeks, we’ve seen music unlock memories, build confidence, and create a beautiful sense of community for people living with dementia and their loved ones.

Whether you love to sing or simply enjoy being surrounded by music, our choir offers a supportive, friendly space for people living with dementia or memory challenges, and their carers, to connect and feel uplifted.
