☕ Coffee and a Catch Up Morning – You’re Invited! ☕
📅 Date: Tuesday 9th December 2025
⏰ Time: 10am – 12pm
📍 Location: The Hub, 13 Buckland Road, Pen Mill Trading Estate, Yeovil, BA21 5EA

Join us for our next Ups and Downs Southwest Coffee and a Catch Up Morning, a warm and friendly gathering for parents and carers. t’s all happening on Tuesday 9th December from 10am to 12pm at The Hub Yeovil.
Come along for a relaxed morning where you can:
✅ Connect with other parents and carers
✅ Share experiences in a supportive environment
✅ Enjoy a hot drink and a friendly chat

Our family support worker, 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐥 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐞, will also be there to offer advice, provide support, and lead a helpful chat on top tips for surviving the Christmas period.

📣 Youth Group Next Friday – 🎨🏓🎮🎲

Our monthly Youth Group for 12 to 18-Year-Olds with Additional Needs is happening this Friday, and we can’t wait to see you!

🧩 What to expect:
✨ A fun craft activity
🎲 Games to enjoy with friends
🍭 A tuck shop – bring a little change if you'd like a treat!

👋 We kindly ask parents to stay for the first session to help everyone settle in.

At Westlands, we pride ourselves on being a place you can visit if you’re feeling lonely, would like some company, or simply need somewhere welcoming to be. As a Warm Welcome Space, we are committed to providing an inclusive environment where everyone can come together as one community. We want to reduce isolation, offer companionship, and create a space where everyone feels they belong.

We’re proud to offer our Octagon Buddies Scheme, created for anyone who would like a companion to attend shows and events with. We understand that coming to the theatre alone can sometimes feel daunting or overwhelming — and we want everyone to be able to enjoy the magic of live performance.

Please find attached the details for the new and exciting Warm Hub Lunch Club at Birchfield Community Centre! The Club is open all all local residents and is a great place to meet new people and get a free healthy lunch and refreshments.

Tomorrow we are holding our next Armed Forces Outreach meet up in Yeovil at Morley House, 26 West Henford, BA20 1XE from 1300 to 1500.

If you are a member of the Armed Forces Community (serving, reservist, veteran or a family member) and you would like to meet with other members of the military community, then why not come along. The Armed Forces Hubs will be there along with representatives from the NHS, ex-military and community support agencies.
It would be great to see you for a brew and a chat, but if you have a specific query or issue, this could be the place to get some initial advice. No booking required as this is an informal drop in. We look forward to seeing you 😊
