Before you come for me…
People misunderstand my stance on this and often get defensive, so let me be super clear 👇🏼
If you go from doing nothing, to doing something, you’ll see some improvement in muscle mass in the very early days. But then you need more stimulus to go further.
And PLEASE, if you enjoy your classes, do them to your hearts content. I don’t have a vendetta against them being used for what they are meant for. A fun, community centred workout.
And there are anomalies to every piece of science! So if you ended up with some muscle from your years of body pump that you were content with… cool! I salute you!
But my message is this:
I truly believe every woman should find her place in the weights room. Train to failure, lift heavy, create muscle building stimulus.
What’s muscle building stimulus?
The sufficient frequency, intensity, volume and structured programming.
This isn’t me vs classes, or me vs class instructors (because you lot always come for me).
I just believe in getting the correct information out there for those who want it. And if you don’t… you don’t have to listen. If you’re searching for answers as to why you’re not progressing, then you might want to listen.
