I've lost 50 pounds and kept it off for over 3 years. I want to share what I have learned with others. Quick weight loss does not last. Trust me, I have tried. I decided on Nobody's Perfect because I've been an all or nothing kind of dieter. I follow a diet plan to perfection, then I mess up...fall off the wagon...eat the wagon...decide that the diet is unreasonable...and go back to my old ways. O
nce I was able to accept that I did not have to be perfect, those setbacks caused less problems for me. I also discovered that making tiny changes were better for me. I have been an educator for over 2 decades. As part of my healthy living journey, I have been focused on learning more about healthy living, coaching, mindfulness, habits for weight loss, holistic health, and more. I have read dozens of books, taken workshops and classes, and researched many issues related to health. I have a Certification in Holistic Wellness Coaching and a Certificate in Mindfulness. I am a certified personal trainer (National Association of Sports Management). What has stood out for me is using a holistic approach to healthy living. It is not just diet and exercise.
