BEAUTÈ GUÈRISON by EMPERATRISSE - HORMONAL WEIGHT GAIN/BODY CHANGES

Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) can help with hormonal weight gain, but it is not a weight loss cure and effectiveness varies by individual. Treatments can include testosterone replacement for men and women, estrogen therapy for women, and thyroid or growth hormone therapy for either s*x, depending on the underlying cause of the weight gain. HRT is a medical treatment that requires a doctor’s supervision to manage symptoms of hormonal imbalances. Lifestyle changes like diet and exercise are also crucial for managing weight.
Hormone replacement therapy for women
Estrogen replacement therapy (ERT): Can help manage weight gain and fat redistribution associated with menopause.
Progesterone: Often combined with estrogen, especially for those with a uterus, to prevent an increase in body fat mass.
Thyroid hormone replacement: Can be used if weight gain is related to an underactive thyroid.
Growth hormone therapy (GHT): May be an option for some individuals.
Hormone replacement therapy for men
Testosterone replacement therapy (TRT): Can help with weight management because testosterone is important for building muscle and influencing metabolism and fat storage.
Thyroid hormone replacement: Can be used if weight gain is linked to an underactive thyroid.
Growth hormone therapy (GHT): May be an option for some individuals.
Important considerations
Individualized treatment: What works for one person may not work for another, and treatment plans are highly individualized.
Not a magic bullet: HRT is not a weight-loss drug. Weight gain can be a natural part of aging or occur due to hormonal shifts, even when on HRT.
Lifestyle modifications: Combining HRT with a balanced diet and regular exercise is crucial for weight management.
Professional guidance: It is essential to work with a healthcare provider to determine the correct diagnosis and appropriate treatment plan.

BEAUTÈ GUÈRISON by Emperatrisse- Skin tags are common, harmless growths of excess skin cells that are typically flesh-colored and connected to the skin by a small, thin stalk. Also known as acrochordons, they are generally not painful, but can become irritated if they rub against clothing or jewelry. For cosmetic reasons or to address irritation, many people choose to have them professionally removed.

CAUSES AND RISK FACTORS-;

Friction: They often appear in areas where skin rubs against itself or clothing, such as the neck, armpits, eyelids, groin, and under the breasts.

Weight: People who are overweight or have obesity are more prone to skin tags due to increased skin folds and friction.

Diabetes and insulin resistance: A high number of skin tags may indicate underlying insulin issues, such as type 2 diabetes.

Pregnancy: Hormonal changes during pregnancy can increase the likelihood of developing skin tags.

Genetics: There may be a hereditary link, so having a family member with skin tags can increase your risk.

Age: Skin tags are more common in middle-aged and older adults.

BEAUTÈ GUÈRISON by EMPERATRISSE - Hormonal imbalance is a condition where the body has too much or too little of one or more hormones, which are chemicals that regulate many bodily functions like metabolism, growth, and reproduction. Common causes include medical conditions like diabetes, PCOS, and thyroid disorders, as well as lifestyle factors such as stress, poor diet, and lack of exercise. Symptoms vary depending on the affected hormone but can include weight changes, acne, irregular periods, fatigue, and low s*x drive. Diagnosis typically involves a physical exam, blood tests, and sometimes imaging, and treatment focuses on addressing the underlying cause.

BEAUTÈ GUÈRISON by EMPERATRISSE-
🍂Hair trimming is the process of cutting a small portion of hair, usually from the ends, to maintain a hairstyle, remove split ends, and promote healthier-looking hair. Key steps involve using sharp shears designed for hair, sectioning hair into manageable parts, and using a comb or fingers as a guide to ensure an even and clean cut. Regular trims every 6 to 12 weeks are often recommended to maintain healthy hair.

🍂WHY YOU SHOULD TRIM YOUR HAIR
Removes split ends: Trimming gets rid of damaged, split ends, which can prevent them from splitting further up the hair shaft.

Maintains hairstyle: Regular trims help to maintain the shape and length of a desired haircut.

Promotes health: Removing the tips of the hair encourages healthier growth and can make hair appear more vibrant.

Prevents breakage: By eliminating damaged ends, you prevent further breakage, keeping your hair longer and stronger.

🍂STEPS FOR A BASIC HAIR TRIM
Gather your tools: You will need a pair of sharp hair-cutting shears and a comb.

Prepare your hair: Comb your hair to detangle any knots. Many people find it easier to work with dry or slightly damp hair.

Section your hair: Divide your hair into manageable sections.

Comb and guide: Take a section of hair, comb it straight down, and hold it between your index and middle fingers.

Trim the ends: With the hair held firmly, trim off the small, straight pieces that stick out.
Repeat and blend: Continue this process for each section, using the previously cut section as a guide to ensure evenness.

🍂IMPORTANT TIPS
Use proper tools: Use professional hair-cutting shears, not household scissors, to avoid damaging the hair.

Be conservative: When trimming at home, it’s better to trim too little than too much, as you can always trim more later.

Check for evenness: Periodically check your work with a mirror to make sure both sides of your hair are the same length.

Consider your hair type: Curly hair may appear shorter when dry, so factor that into your trimming process.

BEAUTÈ GUÈRISON - Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Day is a public holiday celebrated in Ghana on September 21st to honor the birth and legacy of the country’s first president, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.

About Kwame Nkrumah
Independence Leader: Nkrumah was the driving force behind Ghana’s independence from British colonial rule, which was achieved on March 6, 1957. This made Ghana the first sub-Saharan African nation to achieve independence.
First President: He served as Ghana’s first Prime Minister from 1957 to 1960 and then as the first President from 1960 until he was overthrown in a military coup in 1966.
Pan-Africanist: Nkrumah was a prominent Pan-Africanist who saw Ghana’s independence as a catalyst for the liberation of the entire African continent.
History of the holiday
Founders’ Day: The holiday was originally designated as “Founders’ Day” by President John Atta Mills in 2009 to commemorate Nkrumah’s birthday on September 21.
Controversy and rebranding: The holiday has been subject to political debate and name changes over the years. Some have argued that Nkrumah alone should not be recognized as the sole founder of Ghana.
Current status: As of June 2025, the Ghanaian parliament approved a bill that reinstated September 21st as “Founder’s Day” in honor of Nkrumah. The August 4th holiday, also formerly called Founder’s Day, was repealed.
How it is observed
Public holiday: It is a statutory public holiday, meaning schools and most businesses are closed.
Lectures and events: The day is marked with lectures, speeches, and other events that commemorate Nkrumah’s achievements and vision for Ghana and Africa.
Observed on a Monday: If the 21st of September falls on a weekend, the holiday is observed on the following Monday. For example, since September 21, 2025, falls on a Sunday, the holiday will be observed on Monday, September 22, 2025.
