Understanding the Soul’s Journey After Death
When a human being leaves the physical body, death is not the end — it is a transition.
According to ancient spiritual knowledge, once the body dies, the soul has 13 sacred days to transit from the earthly realm into the astral realm. At this stage, the soul is no longer in a gross physical body, but in a subtle body, preparing to move toward its next destination.
After these 13 days, the soul enters another 40-day journey, continuing through the astral passage. During this period, the soul gradually detaches from earthly vibrations and memories.
If the soul successfully completes this process, it moves onward according to its karma and spiritual alignment.
However, when a soul delays beyond the initial 13 days, it can remain energetically tied to the earthly plane. Such attachment may cause restlessness, confusion, or lingering earthly bonds, making transition difficult.
This is why many ancient traditions emphasize:
• Proper prayers
• Conscious remembrance
• Spiritual guidance after death
Death is not disappearance.
It is movement.
And movement requires awareness and alignment.
