There’s been a recent rise in su***de cases, particularly on our university campuses and it’s something we should all be deeply concerned about.

The most recent case, sadly was reportedly linked to heartbreak.

In moments of emotional distress, please remember: su***de is not the answer.

Here are a few things that can help:

1. Express Your Emotions

Cry, write, pray, shout, in fact, whatever helps you release the pain. Don’t keep it all inside.

2. Seek Help, Speak to Someone

Reach out to a friend, family member, or a counselor. Just talk to someone.

You can call the National Su***de Prevention Helplines: 0509497705 / 0558424645.

3. Prioritize Self-Care

Hit the gym, go for a walk, listen to music or do anything that brings you peace and joy.

You are worth far more than one relationship. Your life has purpose and value.
