Diabetes is a group of chronic diseases characterized by high blood sugar levels, caused by the pancreas not producing enough insulin or the body not responding to it properly.
The number of diabetes cases in Ghana keeps increasing everyday and this has become a national health concern.

To see a drop in numbers starts with healthier habits such as ;
1.choosing whole foods over processed foods,
2. building a balanced plate,
3.reducing sugar sweetened drinks consumption, 4.practicing portion control, getting enough sleep
5. moving the body daily
6. Adopting healthy cooking methods
7. Smart snacking
8. Managing stress better.

This is a reminder that small habits today can lead to a healthier life tomorrow.
