There are principles that govern sound health and vitality.
Today, we look at the principle of Physical Activity.
Humans were created by God to work. Work is a form of exercise that articulates your joints and keeps you agile and smart. It increases blood flow to your brain and enhances your mood! If your work requires long hours of sitting behind a desk or minimal activity, then have scheduled breaks where you get up and walk around and stretch for a while. You need to do a minimum of 10,000 steps a day not to be categorized as sedentary. Have a smart watch or a device that helps you to count your total number of steps in a day! Get Active. Get Busy. If you are not able to register with a gym, go on YouTube and watch some indoor exercises safe for your age. Some exercise is better than no exercise at all!
Next is the Principle of Rest and Recovery.
Get busy, work hard but don’t burn out! Stress makes you age faster, ahead of your biological age where a 27 year old looks 37. That’s 10 years ahead of your biological age. Have you ever gaped when someone mentioned their age? Yes. Amongst many reasons that might cause people to age, even medical conditions, one of the commonest facilitators of aging is STRESS. Get some rest. Take a break. Allow the body to repair. Rest is God’s wisdom for body repair and we must respect that when needed. Naturally, persons with acne even have a reduction in the breakouts in the mornings because the stress hormones are usually at their minimum. Get that rest and you would thank me later!
