Cerebral palsy (CP) is a group of disorders that affect movement, posture and muscle coordination. It occurs when a child’s developing brain is damaged, often before or during birth. Causes may include premature birth, lack of oxygen, brain infections or head injuries early in life. Signs to look out for include delayed milestones like sitting, crawling, or walking, stiffness or floppiness in the limbs, and poor coordination. Though CP has no cure, early diagnosis, therapy, and family support help children reach their full potential. Let’s create awareness, show love and support inclusion for all. 💚💚💚
