AGAHF Goes Old Skool
Celebrating 95 Years of Care | 10 Years of Transformation
Shaping the Next Chapter of Health and Hope—Together
On 19th December 2025, as part of the celebration of 95 years of care and 10 years of transformation, AGA Health Foundation took a beautiful step back in time with “AGAHF Goes Old Skool.” It was a day dedicated to honouring our roots, celebrating our heritage, and remembering where the journey began.
We brought back the spirit of the 1930s, the era when healthcare at AGAHF first took shape—when care was delivered with simple tools, handwritten records, and an unwavering commitment to humanity. Staff and participants embraced the old-school style, reminding us of a time when compassion, discipline, and community were the foundation of healthcare.
The event was more than fashion and nostalgia. It was a living story—one that showed how far we have come. From those early days of modest facilities and paper-based systems to today’s modern, specialised, and patient-centred healthcare services, AGA Health Foundation has continued to evolve while holding firmly to its core values.
“AGAHF Goes Old Skool” celebrated the dedication of the pioneers—doctors, nurses, midwives, and support staff—who laid the foundation of excellence we build upon today. Their resilience and sacrifice continue to inspire our current professionals as we embrace innovation, technology, and transformation.
As we reflected on the past, we were also reminded of the future. The old-school celebration formed part of a broader journey toward growth, expansion, and the vision of becoming a Teaching Hospital, ensuring that generations yet unborn will benefit from today’s efforts.
This was not just a look back—it was a powerful reminder that our history gives meaning to our progress. The values that guided AGA Health Foundation in the 1930s—care, service, integrity, and community—remain the same values shaping our future.
AGAHF Goes Old Skool was a moment of pride, unity, and storytelling. A celebration of where we started, how far we have come, and where we are going next.
95 years of care.
10 years of transformation.
Shaping the next chapter of health and hope—together.
