The Kokofu Traditional Council, led by Barima Offe Akwasi Okogyeasuo II (Kokofumanhene), and the Planning Committee regret to announce the indefinite postponement of this year’s 7th Edition of the Opemsuo Festival, which was originally scheduled to take place from 15th September to 21st September 2025.

This decision comes as a mark of respect and dedication to the arrangements surrounding the burial and funeral rites of the Asantehemaa, Nana Ama Konadu Yiadom III, whose passing has deeply saddened the Ashanti Kingdom. We thank you for your understanding and continued support during this solemn period. Let us come together to honor the memory of Nana Ama Konadu Yiadom III, whose legacy will continue to inspire the Ashanti people and beyond.
