My attention has been drawn to a video in which Sheikh Tawfiq of Nurul Ameen claims that leading members of the NPP visited him one night to solicit his support, which he says he rejected.
Sheikh, with all due respect, you must stop misleading the public. What you have said about what transpired that night is simply not true. We know exactly what happened, and I strongly advise you to desist from peddling falsehoods.
Out of the respect I have for you, I do not like the idea of publicly rebutting you. However, you keep pushing, and you must stop. Do not dare us to the point where we are compelled to bring out unpleasant details. Let this end here.
At no point did anyone ask you for help or assistance in our campaign. The sole purpose of that engagement was to advise you to put an end to the unfair, baseless commentaries, labels, and verdicts you persistently passed on Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and to caution you to desist for the sake of your own reputation.
Sadly, look at where things have gotten to now. Your reputation and credibility as an Islamic scholar are being dragged through the gutter by your own actions. We do not need you to publicly declare your political affiliation, your conduct has already answered that question.
During the engagement that same night, you expressed clear bitterness and jealousy, you expressed concerns that the NPP government is selectively promoting one scholar while sidelining others, yourself included. Why did you choose not to disclose this to your audience?
And it is out of this bitterness and jealousy, that you decided to hide behind Islamic s ゚viralシfypシ゚viralシ cholarship to destroy, malign, and pass unfair, unfavourable, and baseless Islamic verdicts and labels on a good man who once employed you, by your own admission, simply because he is seen or perceived to be supporting another Islamic scholar.
This grievance formed part of the motivation behind your Islamic misconduct, and you registered your dissatisfaction that night. We have it. Stop daring us!!!
Sheikh, fear Allah. Speak the truth. And stop misleading the public.
