✳ ASTHMA

Asthma is a respiratory tract infection condition in which the airway tract narrow, swell and produces extra mucus in response to microbial agent, allergic trigger etc.
This makes breathing difficult and trigger coughing, wheezing and shortness of breath. Asthma can't be cured but it's symptoms can be control / manage.
💹PHYSIOLOGICAL EXAMPLE OF ASTHMATIC TRIGGER.

Allergic agent eg spore is inhale, the body sense it's allergic so have to be eliminated from the respiratory tract.
✅Antigen- antibodies reaction ➡ increase blood pressure ➡ narrowing of airway tract ➡ more mucus released to trap allergic trigger agent ➡ wheezing and cough to eliminate trigger agent.
💹ASTHMA TRIGGERS
✅ Microbiological infection eg. Virus, bacteria etc
✅Allergic induce trigger by airborne substance eg pollen, mold, spores etc.
✅Respiratory infection such as common cold.
✅Cold air.
✅Air pollutants and irritant such as smoke.
✅Certain medications.
💹SYMPTOMS
Varies from individuals.
✅Shortness of breath.
✅Chest tightness or pain.
✅Wheezing sound when exhaling.
✅Cough and fever.
✅Difficulty in breathing.
💹PEOPLE AT RISK.
✅Having a direct blood relative with asthma.
✅Having respiratory tract allergic conditions.
✅Being a smoker.
✅Exposure to exhaust fume or other type of airborne pollution.
💹PREVENTION.
✅Follow asthma action plan.
✅Identify and avoid asthma triggers.
✅Monitor your breathing.
✅Identify and treat attacks early.
✅Take medication as prescribed.
