Care and Concern Action Group Care and Concern Action Group, local NGO based in Sokode-Gbogame in the HO municipality of the Volta Region in Ghana, West Africa.

The “Care and Concern Action Group” (CCAG) is an Organization of persons with all types of disabilities in the Volta-Region of Ghana, working towards the achievement of independent living, Cross-cultural understanding, disability rights, access, social integration, employment, equal opportunities, health and education of people with disabilities. This Organization got registered with the Registrar General Department, Accra Ghana in 1996 and also registered with the Ho Municipal Assembly the local governing body in 2000 and Department of Social Welfare in 2001. Until then there has not been any strong Organization for persons with disabilities in the Ho Municipality let alone in the Volta-Region of Ghana. In order for CCAG to be fully sustained, the management of the Organization is looking for Donor agencies, Organizations Philanthropists, and other Developmental Agencies to Co-operate with and work together for the improvement of the living standard s of people with disabilities.
“Care and Concern Action Group” is also working on Old people’s project, women and children who are vulnerable in our society.
