Our first spotlight of the academic year features Yasmin. 😍
Hello everyone, I am Ewurche Yasmin Mahama in PBL 4. I completed Akosombo International School and worship at ICGC.
I am the current chairperson for SCORP and the former health rep for the class of 2028.
One thing most people wouldn’t know (or guess) about me is that I drift cars for fun.😎
And a moment I am proud of so far is earning an “excellent job” from a senior resident during my Orthopedics rotation. Like, where do I go from here?!😂
Oh, and if I hadn’t pursued medicine, I probably would have gone for aviation, you know, to be a pilot.👩✈️ I’d like to go into orthopedics after school though. It’s basically adult LEGO, and has the right mix of the gym, hospital and engineering lab.
A perfect day for me would start with waking up slowly and gliding through my skincare routine. Brunch at a beautiful spot, a relaxing spa session, a cake and ice cream treat, then dinner somewhere I like. I end the night in my favorite pajamas, candles lit, and fall asleep calm and unbothered. (no mention of med school, you see?😂)
My go-to comfort meal is cake and ice cream (no further comment 😂). I guess I am a night owl. Favourite song is Everyday by FireboyDML, and I support Arsenal.
An advice I’d give anybody in this school is “If you want to go fast, go alone but if you want to go far, go together.”
It’s been fun, MSA. Thank you! .eee 🤗
