THE ALIBIS IS ENOUGH
Many of us have the desire of starting something. It could be starting a relationship or starting our own business or writing a book or selling something or starting friendship with someone.
In all these and many more, the zeal to surge forward and do comes to us like the wind comes to us but chances are that many of us never accept the challenge of doing it because someone did it and failed; someone told us it is not doable;
someone gave us the statistics data of the number of people who have failed in the venture we wish to try. Someone asked us what is the probability of we succeeding, knowing the people who have trodden that path; there our desires to do are doused by them and we never start. But seeing someone succeed where we failed to try, we say they have touched the magic wand of luck. Luck is preparation meets opportunity.
We also have doubts in our abilities; the fear of what people will say should we fail impede the desire to want to start something. At times, we become so drunk in people's opinions that we forget we also have some opinions to consider.
The comfortability we enjoy in our comfort zone makes us believe that's who we are and denies us the opportunity of exploitation - the act of trying something that makes us feel uncomfortable.
Many of us believe that things in life happen because they have been ordained to happen. Well, I hold contrary view not disputing the fact that some phenomenons are beyond our control. Like the rising and setting of the sun. But the greater things that bring about life changing experiences are men's doings.
The phones we use; the cars we drive; the satellite that enables us to watch television; the planes that take us from one continent to another; the light bulbs that brighten our homes, streets and offices and help us in reading; all the gadgets we use in healthcare system and in our industries and any other inventions are men's creations springing from ideas.
You're no different from these men. You can do it. Is very possible. Start a step at a time and before you know, you're already there.
It is time! Say after me, it is time! it is time to rise, it is time to do away with people's opinions; it is time to proclaim liberty from my comfort zone; it is time to clear all doubts and fears from my mind; it is time to live above limitations. Limitations are that which I set in my mind. I am infinite divine being and have the unlimited divine power to conquer, to surmount the insurmountable and to achieve the unbelievable. I can do it so I am doing it now!
