The Alternative Dispute Resolution Secretariat (ADRS) has been officially selected as the recipient for the 2026 Peace Maker Award by the Center for African Peace & Conflict Resolution (CAPCR) at California State University, Sacramento.

This award recognizes outstanding service in providing mediation and conflict resolution services in The Gambia, strengthening dialogue, restoring relationships, and promoting peaceful solutions across communities.

After a successful partnership with Media Academy for Journalism and Communication-MAJaC Students’ Union on their recent nationwide tour, the leadership paid a courtesy visit to the Secretariat to debrief on the successes, and assessed the details of the partnership for references.
