Many doctors picture retirement as mornings in the clinic and afternoons at home. A recent survey of 5000 physicians (average age, 63 years) by Deutsches Ärzteblatt, a German medical journal, found that about three-quarters could see themselves practicing until age 70 or beyond, and nearly 1 in 5 even until age 75 or later, but not in full-time roles; on average, respondents preferred about 16 hours of work per week. http://ms.spr.ly/6185sWSRN

Good evening, Guam. Today was the last day we held clinic, and as we close, we have some office furniture 🪑 available for sale. All are from HON, a well-known maker of office furniture. Ergonomic office chairs, small cabinets and filing cabinets are $25 each, bookcases are $50 each and desks/combination desk and hutch/hutch are $100 each. Pick-up and carry out only (no delivery available) from Health Partners clinic from Sept 22-24, 9 am-5 pm. PayPal, cash or credit card payments accepted. To our valued patients and colleagues,

After nearly 25 years of providing medical care in endocrinology and metabolism, I am closing my practice as I transition towards retirement. Health Partners, LLC’s clinic will close after September 20, 2025, and I will no longer be available to take outpatient referrals after that date.

I am currently exploring various options to resume seeing my patients for part of the year beginning in 2026, and I will make the announcement once plans are finalized.

To our valued patients, thank you for entrusting me and our team with your care throughout all these years. You have made the past 25 years a joy!

To our colleagues, I am sincerely grateful for the opportunity to have partnered with you in the care of our shared patients. Thank you for entrusting our team with your patients’ endocrine care for nearly a quarter of a century.

Health experts agree: “Everyone 6 months and older, with rare exceptions, should get a flu vaccine every season.” (CDC, 2024) So today, we went to to get ! If you haven’t gotten yours yet, head to Rexall and get the flu shot before they run out!
