🌻 Growth looks good on me.

For so long, I tolerated things I had no business accepting.
I stayed quiet when I should’ve spoken up.
I stayed put when I should’ve walked away.
I let people mistreat me, thinking it was my job to just endure.

But I’ve learned:
God never asked me to be anyone’s doormat.
He called me to be kind — not blind.
He called me to be humble — not humiliated.
He called me to be patient — but not imprisoned.

This season, I’m growing in Him.
He’s teaching me to hold my peace — not out of fear, but out of faith.
Faith that I don’t need to fight to prove my worth.
Faith that I don’t need to beg for what is meant for me.
Faith that He’s already got me covered.

Even in my career, I feel the shift.
I know who I am and what I bring to the table — and I no longer shrink to make others comfortable. I no longer accept less than what I’ve worked for and prayed for.

Growth means I don’t clap back — I just step back.
Growth means I don’t retaliate — I just release.
Growth means I don’t chase — I choose.

I’m walking in grace, walking in purpose, walking in peace.
Thank You, Lord, for growing me into the person I was always meant to be.
