Just had to share this Beautiful Sunrise 🌅 from Home this morning.
One morning, a wise man once told his guard to get some water from the river. The guard went to the river and saw the water was very muddy and he returned to the wise man and informed him the water was very muddy.
The wise man said "That is ok, you can go back in the afternoon and get me water then". The guard returned that afternoon to the river and he noticed the water getting clearer but still was not pure enough to drink.
The guard returned empty handed again and informed the wise man of the water status. The wise man replied "That is ok my friend, you can go back this evening before the sun sets and get me water then".
The guard went just before Sunset and noticed the water was now clear and was pure enough to drink. He smiled and filled the bucket with water. The guard returned and was excited to present the water to the wise man.
The wise man replied "Oh my wonderful friend, you see the learning behind all this. At one stage there will be muddy waters such as Fear, Confusion and Unworthiness. But eventually giving it Time all the muddy waters will be clear like crystal. In other words, feelings are replaced by Strength, Hope, Belief and Will Power." The guard smiled and acknowledged.
That wise man was Sri Gautama Buddha. 😊🙏🏽💟
In the same way today all we see, hear and speak is about the Pandemic, War, Pressure, Stress, etc. Note all this seems like Muddy Waters but know that with every down there will ALWAYS be an Up! After the Darkness there will ALWAYS be Light!
Let this Beautiful Sunrise be a reminder that eventually after a dark night the Sun will rise. This is Nature, this is Life.
What we can do is fix our own reaction to things believing that Clear Waters will ALWAYS be on the horizon.
Whatever the Situation of 'Darkness': relationship breakdown, job loss, insults towards you, remember this ancient Story of Healing that can be applied in this Modern World today. Remember to Be Still and only Watch your emotions and thoughts. Eventually, all will Heal.
