The Asian sociocultural traditions and values, while diversified, have seemingly been facilitating factors in achieving impressive results in health and caring for the sick and the old. These factors appear to have also played influencing roles in its relative success in confronting the COVID-19 pandemic.

But how should Asia’s health systems evolve in the future in light of growing emphasis on artificial intelligence, telemedicine and other technological advances?
