About the founder:

Serg, the founder of Equilibrium, graduated from the Kushi Institute, the world-renowned centre for holistic macrobiotic studies in Boston, Massachusetts. Implementing the principals of macrobiotic philosophy, diet and lifestyle, Serg specialises in working with clients to increase energy levels, enhance rejuvenation/anti-aging and improve overall wellbeing naturally.

Serg’s journey began when he was 15 years old and his mother, Mina Dobic, was diagnosed with a Stage IV ovarian cancer, which spread to her lymph, bones, and metastasised to her liver. She was given two months to live by western medical experts. With the support of her family, Mina began practising a macrobiotic diet and lifestyle to correct her condition. Six months later, her cancer stopped spreading, and a year later she was pronounced cancer-free. Serg played a significant role in his mother’s recovery, helping her prepare meals and home remedies.

Today, 30 years later, Mina and Serg are renowned macrobiotic counselling team who has worked successfully with numerous clients including Hollywood celebrities Madonna, Gwyneth Paltrow, Rachel Weisz, and Alicia Silverstone. Other notable collaborations include Dr. Benjamin Spock and The Ritz Carlton of Laguna Niguel.

Serg offers variety of services including macrobiotic nutrition and lifestyle consulting, meal preparation, and educational workshops around the world.
