Course Objective：
To guide occupational therapists to acquire knowledge and skills for assessing the needs of clients across different age groups and varying conditions. The course will increase awareness of the unique aspects and complexities of home modification and understand the importance of implementing adequate precautions during structural modifications and while prescribing assistive devices.

透過培訓工作坊，鼓勵職業治療同業使用「茶藝精神復康法」，以品茗作為治療媒介，了解在康復環境如何建立一個茶香角落，引導服務使用者在放鬆的環境下, 透過專注泡茶、賞茶和品茗的過程舒緩壓力、寧神養生，並透過茶席互動重建社交與自信，達到心理與情緒的康健。

吳鳳亮博士在職業治療豐富經驗。他獲得香港理工大學健康科學博士和美國職業治療博士學位。吳博士亦持有香港大學中醫證書，並持有世界茶文化專家委員會及香港茶道總會之中國茶藝導師、中國國家高級茶藝師和中國國家高級評茶員資格。吳博士目前擔任多個政府諮詢委員會，包括香港特別行政區醫療及衛生服務選舉委員會委員、專職醫療業管理局註冊小組委員，以及職業安全健康局醫療服務業安全及健康委員會主席。他亦作為香港職業治療學會的外務代表，擔任香港衛生界專業團體聯席會議的召集人。吳博士已發表70餘篇論文。他的研究興趣包括、預防醫學、中醫和補充醫學、健身氣功、茶藝精神復康法、人體晝夜節律和創新技術等。

🌟Occupational Therapy in Pain Management 🌟

Course Introduction:
This course equips occupational therapists with updated, evidence-based knowledge and practical skills in pain management. Participants will learn OT’s roles and skills in addressing both acute and chronic pain, including conducting pain assessment, evaluating clients’ needs, and formulating holistic, person-centered OT intervention programs to enhance well-being and quality of life, while also gaining hands-on experience in specific intervention techniques such as pacing, relaxation, application of health qigong, enhancing fascial fitness, and an introduction to selected fascial therapy techniques for managing pain.

Part 1 : 0930 - 1230
• Equips occupational therapists with updated, evidence-based knowledge on pain management

Dr. Chu is a Hong Kong–trained Occupational Therapist with over 35 years of clinical experience in major public hospitals and rehabilitation centres. She received her DHSc(OT) from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2019. Dr. Chu had been a council member of the Hong Kong Pain Society for about 10 years and is currently a council member of the Hong Kong Pain Foundation. She has been involved in organizing and participating in many community activities in pain education, promoting health and teaching Health Qigong Ba Duan Jin.
