Runxin is a shy, determined 16-year-old girl, who is lovingly cared for by her parents and sister. After she was diagnosed with a brain tumour, she developed an intellectual disability that made abstract and logical thinking particularly difficult. Her future looked uncertain, until she joined ICC's Pathways Vocational Training Programme.

Beiqi joined our Enquan Yuan family in June, and it's been a joy to watch him grow and thrive over the past few months. When he first arrived, he was reserved, and reluctant to make eye-contact. Over time, he became comfortable and happy in his new home, eagerly spending time on the swing in the rehabilitation room and taking walks outside with his caregiver. Now, he smiles often, and he loves interacting with others. Surrounded by love, hope and opportunity, Beiqi has flourished.

Xiaotong began attending a local primary school, but sadly had to leave after one semester due to her hearing impairment. Thankfully, ICC's Outreach Team #4 was there to respond to this crucial need, and provide lessons at home for Xiaotong. She is excited whenever the team arrives, and eagerly engages and participates in lessons and therapy. After completing a task, she would shout "yeah!" and hi-five her teacher. Her mother is also very happy that Xiaotong is able to continue her education, and both mother and daughter are excited to attend our upcoming FPP Fall outing!

The Sensory Room in our Enquan Yuan home is a joyful place where children participate in sensory integration and rehabilitation training each week. Zhiguang, who regularly attends sessions here, was previously more passive in his therapy and struggled to sit independently for long periods. Now, he can sit independently on the swing and wooden bench for about 20 minutes, and his sitting balance has improved significantly. Encouraged by his therapists and surrounded by a loving, supportive environment, Zhiguang has made amazing progress towards his therapy goals!

This October, our Outreach Team #4 visited Yuyu, a seven-year-old boy with autism and an intellectual disability. Previously, he had been receiving therapy at a local hospital, but the family had to stop due to financial pressure. Thankfully, ICC was there to respond to this crucial need, and our team brought therapy and special education services directly to their home. Because of generous donors like you, we are able to ensure children like Yuyu have the support they need to thrive. Thank you.

In September, we welcomed two new children into our Enquan Yuan family! On September 10th, we welcomed a 16-year-old boy named Wenlin, and on September 28th, we welcomed a 16-year-old girl named Shanen, both of whom have cerebral palsy. Our team surrounded them with love and support as they settled into daily life at ICC. As they spend time getting to know them, learning their interests and needs, they will develop individualized therapy and special education plans. Please join us in warmly Wenlin and Shanen, please pray for them as they settle in and embark on this exciting new chapter!
