🎤 My Throat Chakra Healing Journey: From Silence to Strength 🎶 My 9-Key Singing Challenge (Life Lessons)

Doctors told me I might never speak normally again..

For 10+ years, my blocked throat chakra left me:
🔥 In unbearable pain – Vocal cords so damaged with decade-long pain could barely whisper
💔 Professionally devastated – Unable to teach, sing, or express myself
🌑 Spiritually lost – My silence became my prison

🔹 Physically: Chronic vocal cord pain, lost my voice, neck and jaw tensions
🔹 Mentally: Struggling to express myself, stand up for my truth, restricted, survival mode
🔹 Emotionally: Feeling lost or unheard, numb to my own needs

After 10+ years later, then came Sandy Lam’s 9-key challenge as ultimate test. When I hit record, MAGIC happened.. I sang all 9 keys. Imperfectly, but unbelievably had completed!

自疫情開始後,一直都未有機會親身去做義工,感謝讓我有這次機會,貢獻愛心和以藝術來滋養一班患癌的小朋友及家屬們🎨🤍

對於藝術的氣息瀰漫著大樓的每個角落感到很讚嘆✨ 在這些家庭面對具挑戰的時刻來說,家舍是一個為他們增加一些歡樂和舒適感的地方,提升精神品質確實會對病情有著很大的正面影響💝 衷心祝願每位在這地方增添更多內在的平安及力量🙏🏽

最深刻的是,起初我在陪伴一位小朋友聊天,她既有着創作的想法,同時請求我幫她畫兩隻雀仔,好讓她可以填顏色。

當我畫好後,她突然從口袋裏拿出一顆黃色的鑽石來送給我,我感到很驚喜,亦不敢收下她珍貴的鑽石,然後她跟我說:「我有很多顆鑽石,妳收下吧」

我好奇問道:「妳是如何得到這麼多珍貴的鑽石呢?」
她說:「是因為當我願意做運動時,物理治療師每次都會獎我鑽石」

我聽到後非常感動,她年紀少少卻有着多麼堅強的意志及行動力去對抗病魔,她活力十足,都不像患上了這麼嚴重的疾病,我為她感到非常驕傲呢👏🏽☺️

她最後亦對我說:「不要將它送給其他人啊」

我微笑並認真地回應:「嗯,一定!」

我這趟來對她來說只是片刻的陪伴,卻感到她對我很重視,她的純真、真心,是多麼的珍貴🤍 內心充斥着感動和感恩🙏🏽

機構的計劃很周全,除了病童,作為照顧者的家人也是面對著很大的壓力,看見家人們很享受藝術創作的過程,為他們帶來喘息的空間,感到很療癒呢👍🏽

恆常的創作班會於週末舉行,但未來7、8月因小朋友放暑假,將於平日進行,義工隊需要更多有心人幫忙呢~如這篇分享令你有共鳴,亦希望參與這個過程體驗愛的流動,請讓我知道🤗

Dr. Robert was injured and suffered with pinched nerves pain at hip joint from his favourite watersports.

He was consulted with an Orthopedist from HK and Sports Rehab Specialists from UK in the beginning. After few months he didn't found had a good progress and feeling frustrated with the pain kept on going😞

Then we started to focus on mobilizing the hip joint and stretch with mindful and gentle approach. Rebuild the awareness on his hip joint and increase mobility. Reconnect his core to lower limbs with Pilates and integrated movements practice. I understand it's not easy to rehab from such sensitive pain on the body. I appreciate for your trust and grateful to see you back to your favourite sports 🩵🩵

When to do rehab exercises?✨

Bonnie had been suffered with knees and hip pain as she has heavy workload of taking care her patients, also further study for her professional after work some days during every weeks. She had tried physiotherapy for a long period, she felt good for two days after treatment but frustrated about the result not long lasting.

We started to working for the results together which focus on the increase hip & ankle mobility and Pilates practice to strength her core. With her commitment and consistency putting effort, she was able to reach her goal of pain-free and move-well. No more knees pain when carrying her instrument to attend Accordion class! 😍
