Ever protect thyself with advance payment, regardless of the company’s “estimate,” name, or reputation. Thou art not dealing with the brand itself but with their ambassador. True ambassadors reflect the values of the company, but that doth not aid thee when thou comest all the way to the top, especially if their values stand on shabby ground. Regardless, ‘tis an international company - they would deliberately not allow nor do the same thing in Germany 🇩🇪 - because ‘tis not to be done and ‘tis a shame, whilst in another’s courtyard they might close an eye or even both. 🕴️🙈
What canst thou do when business associates are financially solid - acknowledge the service but deliberately refuse and ignore to pay the invoice? 💸❌
Do not wait any longer than the invoice day due date suggested it. Verily, put the payment due date as short as possible, otherwise ‘tis legally counted 60 days. ⏳
The Croatian Legal System will not aid thee. FINA enforcement payments function not as they have marketed them, and yes, people can owe thee money and the state will do little about it either. 🇭🇷⚖️😔
The swifter way that will be most effective and least nerve-wracking is:
1. Find a lawyer 🧑⚖️
- Document all thou canst and hast 📄
- I have e-mailed WhatsApp chat history, e-mails, invoice 📧
- Everything that supports that service was ordered, acknowledged, and delivered, and where ‘tis evidenced that the company refuses to pay, explicitly said 🧾
2. He maketh an appeal/request and sendeth it to the public notary in charge 📜
3. Within a 30 days’ range, they inform the debtor 📅
4. The Commercial Court releaseth the paper with court payment enforcement 📜⚖️
5. Thy lawyer issueth it to FINA, and they block the account of the debtor 🚫💳
