Thank you to all who attended the benefit Friday evening! Our turn out was fantastic! It was so wonderful to see everyone's enthusiasm toward helping our beloved Hope House family! Although we didn't quite reach our goal for purchasing the truck, we're off to a good start and believe God will help with the rest.

We have some options regarding where to go from here, and could certainly use your prayers to help us come to a conclusion!

1. We still need about $20,000 to buy a truck in good condition. Any takers? 😉 ha doesn't hurt to ask.
2. We could raise a little more money and purchase a smaller truck to give them something for now. Then when more money is raised, trade it in for a bigger one that will better suit their needs.
3. Find an angel sent from God, or just an extremely nice person to donate a truck, van, or people mover of some sort in great condition (preferably diesel) and use our benefit money to ship it down there.

Thank you again for all your prayers, support and love for Hope House! Our mission is far from over and we'll continue to keep you all in the loop as the blessings hopefully continue to pour in. God will make a way! Bondye beniw tout moun!

GET PUMPED EVERYONE! Tonight's the night! Come support the Hope House Haiti family at this dueling pianos benefit at JB's Downtown Joplin! Show starts at 7 PM - tables are first come first serve, so don't be late! Tickets will be available at the door.

This evening's going to be awesome! Come hungry! We've got delicious Oktoberfest style hors d'oeuvres. The silent auction items are amazing, and don't miss the raffle! First, second and third place winners will receive cash and gift cards to local Joplin restaurants.

But most importantly, all proceeds tonight go toward purchasing a truck for Hope House. The Hope House family has taken huge leaps toward self-sufficiency by raising livestock and garden produce to sell in Haitian markets. This truck will be their main source for transporting goods to the central commerce area of Port au Prince (an hour from their village), as well as providing transportation for their children and community members with ongoing medical needs. This truck will open huge doors for them as they teach the younger generations of Haiti the importance of being self-sustaining. YOU can help make that difference!

You have been part of our life and we love. Everything that we own, you have trusted us with. We like being self sufficient without taking God out because He is our supplier. Thank you in advance for giving. The kids asked me to thank you. We will have dinner and joining you on that date.
