Throughout history, women have often been denied the joy of reading due to their social
status, which has limited their access to books and written knowledge. With the spread of printing, women gradually became an important readership, reflected in the rise of women’s magazines and fashion journals from the 18th–19th centuries. By the turn of the century, Paris had become the world’s fashion capital, with magazines shaping not only trends but modern female lifestyles. Our “Paris” wrapping paper features elegant women from Le Petit Echo de la Mode, capturing the distinctive fashion of the 1930s. századfordulón Párizs a divat fővárosává vált: a francia divatlapok nemcsak trendeket mutattak, hanem a modern nő életmódját is formálták. „Párizs” csomagolópapírunkon a Le Petit Echo de la Mode elegáns nőalakjai jelennek meg, az 1930-as évek jellegzetes stílusában. 2025 was a special year for us. A spirit of renewal swept through the everyday life of Bomo Art: our hand-bound notebooks took on new forms while remaining true to the quality and care we’ve stood for from the very beginning. This year, we also wanted to bring you closer to our daily work, sharing glimpses of life within the team, from the first design ideas all the way to the craft of bookbinding. A new design was born as well, its mysterious symbols quietly weaving themselves into your everyday moments, leaving room for thought and imagination. A particularly important milestone for us was our collaboration with the Museum of Ethnography, during which three new limited-edition designs came to life as notebooks, pins, and kaleidoscopes. Throughout the year, we were also happy to meet many of you at various fairs, and some of you even had the chance to step inside our workshop, where our bookbinders work with great care and dedication day after day. Thank you for accompanying us throughout the year, we hope you’ll continue the journey with us next year. We promise to bring you at least as many exciting adventures and beautiful products as we did this year. We wish you a new year rich in Bomo Art! ✨

2025 különleges év volt számunkra. Egyfajta megújulás szele járta át a Bomo Art mindennapjait: kézzel kötött naplóink új formát öltöttek, miközben hűek maradtak ahhoz a minőséghez és odafigyeléshez, amit kezdettől képviselünk. Ebben az évben közelebb szerettünk volna hozni benneteket a mindennapjainkhoz is, ezért megmutattuk, kinek mivel telnek a napjai a csapaton belül, a tervezéstől a könyvkötésig. Új design is született, amely rejtélyes szimbólumaival finoman belopta magát a hétköznapjaitokba, teret adva a
gondolatoknak és a fantáziának. Különösen fontos mérföldkő volt számunkra a Néprajzi
Múzeummal közös együttműködés, amely során három új, limitált mintával készült napló, kitűző és kaleidoszkóp láthatott napvilágot. Az év során több vásárban is találkozhattunk veletek, és sokan betekintést nyerhettetek a műhelyünkbe is, ahol könyvkötőink nap mint nap nagy odafigyeléssel dolgoznak. Köszönjük, hogy végigkísértétek az évünket, reméljük, jövőre is velünk tartotok. Ígérjük, legalább ennyi izgalmas kalandot és szépséges terméket hozunk nektek, mint idén. Bomo Artban gazdag, új esztendőt kívánunk nektek!✨

As we reach the end of the year, we would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being with us throughout it. It’s a special joy for us when our webshop orders find new homes and you share beautiful photos showing where the hand-bound notebooks, bookmarks, and stationery have ended up. Moments like these remind us why we do what we do. Through you, the story of Bomo Art reaches more and more people, through thoughtful gifts, small gestures, and personal stories. Ahogy az év végéhez érünk, szeretnénk szívből megköszönni, hogy egész évben velünk voltatok. Bárhonnan is érkeztetek a világból, mindig jólesett a kedves szó, amellyel a boltjainkat illettétek, és az a figyelem, amellyel felénk fordultatok.
