Lauren Petrovic had always been passionate about inspiring and empowering women. But feeling lost in her own life left her wondering how she could inspire and empower others when she was struggling to find her purpose.
Like any parent, Lauren had a desire to raise her children in the best environment possible. A working mother, she found it difficult to discover the work-life balance she craved. “I decided to ditch the corporate life and start an online business as a way to be there with my kids and bring in an income,” she shares. “I was hopeful that this would be the solution I needed.”
Along with a strong desire to nurture her children, Lauren was facing serious financial struggles and dreamed of owning a home to offer the stability she desired for her family. “We had been renting for eight years, shuffling from place to place and unable to plant roots as a family,” she relays. “The kids wore hand-me-downs and due to our financial woes, there was a lot of tension within our household. It simply wasn’t the environment I wanted for my family.”
Working hard to get her online business off the ground, Lauren felt demotivated. “The work I was putting in wasn’t reflected in the outcomes,” she admits. “Not only was I feeling disappointed about my career path, I was also feeling disappointed when I looked in the mirror. My health took a backseat as our financial situation worsened and I suddenly felt self-conscious about my appearance.”
Unexpected opportunities
Feeling rundown, Lauren turned her attention to her health, hoping to pull herself out of the funk she had found herself in. “Financial stress was weighing on my shoulders constantly and I was perpetually low on energy,” she says. “I knew if I wanted to live out my dreams I had to work on myself first and that was when I came this system.”
Intention and curiosity are what drove Lauren to discovering what was soon to be the next chapter in her life. Watching her friend Heidi on Facebook, led to an intense curiosity that drove Lauren to reach out to the fellow mum and Sydneysider. “I saw the transformations and read the stories and I wanted what they had” she says bluntly. “I wanted improved energy, I wanted to feel less bloated and, most of all, I wanted to feel inspired again.”
Manifesting dreams
Now a resident of Sydney’s northern beaches, Lauren shares her love of the beach regularly through her social media channels. You’d never guess that four years ago, the self-proclaimed beach lover would go out of her way to avoid beaches. “I was embarrassed about my body and ashamed that I’d let myself get to the point where I was consumed by self-loathing,” she admits. “Those feelings are what drove me to make a change.”
Along with weight loss, Lauren’s energy levels soared, her sleep improved and her confidence grew. her active lifestyle meant she began choosing exercise habits that supported her new goals. “I got my mojo back with the help of the 30-Day System,” she laughs. “I replaced bad habits with new, healthy habits and began to enjoy being me.”
The change in Lauren was evident and people certainly noticed. “Throughout my journey, I’ve realised the power of positive energy,” she shares. “I believe that when you manifest in your mind what you desire, the motivation to acquire that success becomes much more real, pushing you towards your goals. I began to radiate that positivity as I shifted my focus from envying others to celebrating others. People noticed my weight loss as well as my shift in mindset and I began to attract the right type of people.”
It’s no surprise that with her positive mindset, passion for helping others and sharply developed leadership skills that Lauren has now earned her spot as a Legacy Club Millionaire, “I fell in love with the products and when I realised I was earning money simply for sharing these amazing products, I quickly saw the chance to help give my family the life they deserved whilst helping others give their family the same opportunity,” she reflects. “I began attending corporate events which allowed me to work on my personal development and It was there that I discovered the incredible community. It was so much more than just weight-loss products – I haven’t looked back since.”
Outside the comfort zone
Getting out of her comfort zone didn’t come naturally to Lauren but after immersing herself in the culture and participating in the personal development opportunities provided, she discovered the benefits of stretching herself beyond the comfort zone. “I built my business on passion and servant leadership – I watched the leaders before me and duplicated what they did. I began having conversations with strangers, I organised Launch Parties and did all the things I never thought I had the confidence to do,” she says. “Nothing fun happens within your comfort zone!”
After learning to love herself again and putting in the work for a new, healthier body, Lauren felt a strong desire to help other women achieve the same. “I can go to the beach now and not be consumed with thoughts about how my body looks,” she says. “It allows me to be present in the moment and make each second count. I want this for all women and my goal is to leave them feeling empowered. The company provides the tools to succeed and we each have the power within us to make our dreams a reality. Just last year we were finally able to purchase our first family home and now my children have the stable upbringing they deserve. You don’t need to be someone special to earn success – you simply need to have passion, dedication and have a burning desire to change lives.”
