We don’t believe the narrative of “New Year New You”. We want you to make realistic, lasting and achievable changes ✨

We thought it would be helpful if we shared our wellness routine with you for some inspiration and information

Here’s what we do:
1. Resting and practicing gratitude 🙏
2. Eat fruits and vegetables daily 🍉🥕
3. Optimal water intake 💦
4. Sleep 7-8 hours a night 😴
5. Daily movement or exercise

No one wants to live with chronic pain, and unfortunately it can stem from a variety of different sources/causes. 😖
However, regardless the disease or condition, we find in our clinical practices that inflammation is the root cause to many of our patients’ discomforts, leaving them with symptoms like:
❎pain
❎swelling
❎chronic fatigue/low energy
❎headaches/migraines
❎constant bloating
❎and other digestive concerns like constipation or diarrhea
What many of our patients learn, is that their everyday habits and lifestyle can significantly help alleviate those symptoms if not eliminate completely depending on the progression of their issue, and regain their health and live a life they love.
Factors that aggregate and worsen pain or other inflammatory symptoms include:
✨How we manage stress- as we know the negative impact stress plays in how we feel. ✨Our sleep habits.
✨ Understanding how to navigate a individualized nutrition plan that is specific to individual needs.
✨ Learning which foods aggravate gut inflammation
✨The role of moderate exercise on reducing pain and inflammation and improving energy
✨Changing our mindset and setting boundaries to achieve our health goals and set us up for success.
✔️ Our health series are designed to cover safe and effective strategies to implement in your everyday routine, that we have full control of, to take back living our healthiest and best self. ✨🧘🏽

Did you know that many of us will eventually get arthritis? But it doesn’t occur because we exercise and we definitely should NOT stop exercising at the first signs of arthritis either
When we aren’t active the volume of cartilage in our joints decreases which can increase the risk for arthritis. And the truth is that our joints become healthier with movement and exercise 💪🚴‍♀️🏋️
Osteoarthritis is more often caused by inflammation than overuse. There are numerous causes of inflammation such as: medications, stress, diet and hormone dysregulation to name a few
Besides being good for your joints exercise can help improve your mood 🧠, boost self-confidence 👏 and can aid in a better nights sleep 😴
It’s time to ditch the belief that you can’t exercise because your joints are worn out

Many of our patients have told us that they either have a hard time falling asleep or staying asleep
Here are our top 5 tips to help you get some quality sleep:
✨Limit screen use at least 1 hour before bed
✨Create and stick to a sleep schedule
✨Avoid caffeine at least 6 hours before bed
✨Physical activity + fresh air
✨Magnesium
