Helping HAND Indonesia

Helping HAND Indonesia A campaign to help people to get artificial limbs, in Indonesia, who lost these through leprosy, an accident or born with deformed limbs

Short Summary
During my many years in Indonesia I have travelled the country from Aceh to Bali - Kalimantan - Sumatra - Sulawesi - Manado - Papua and Java. During my travel I have seen many poor and unfortunate people who are crippled through accidents or have deformed limbs through polio and leprosy. I have been involved in several community support projects to help support some of these people. Much more help and support is needed, especially for young persons who need artificial limbs to be able to live a decent life. Ali Saga has developed his prostheses workshop and has requests from many patients for artificial limbs. Almost all of these patients do not have the resources to pay for the needed limbs. This where I want to help, to get funds to pay for the needed artificial limbs for these people. What We Need & What You Get
Your support will help to get the artificial limb needed for a better life style for some of these people.
• Money will go direct to the person in need
• Any amount is appreciated and welcome
• A report of action will be available on request, beside published on a page
• See perks below you can get for your contribution

The Impact
Your help and support is three fold
1. It will help the patient to be able to live a better life
2. It will help Ali a former l***r patient to support his family
Other Ways You Can Help
It would be great if you can send this information to all your friends, families, church clubs and social clubs to support this campaign.

Finally, the first Bionic Hand is ready to be used, by Rian.
Students from the Mechatronics Department of the Swiss German University, under the supervision of Dr. Eko Budiarto, have worked for past 3 years, to develop the Bionic Hand, based on a sample hand from Open Bionics.
